A good inclusive education teacher training programme does more than just train teachers – it helps to embed inclusion across the education system. In sections 7-9 you will find out about 3 ways in which the Zambia programme helps to embed inclusion.

In this section you will look at school inclusion teams (SITs) and school-based inclusive education co-ordinators (IECos).

Teachers cannot achieve inclusive education on their own which is why the teacher training modules include a focus on SITs and IECOs.
